Hi, I'm Tara! I am a graphic designer and artist born and raised in Columbus, Indiana and based in San Francisco, California, where I am pursuing my passion for art and design. I am double majoring in design and fine art at the University of San Francisco, which has allowed me to explore creativity in both technical and expressive ways. My work is centers around print-based materials and illustration, merging story telling with meaningful design. The inspiration and motivation for my practice comes from family connections, community, nature, and the power of color, all of which shape the way I approach both physical art and design. In my free time, I paint and work on crafts with my daughter, nurturing creativity through shared personal experiences. Consistently curious, I am always excited to learn new skills and mediums. I enjoy the potential and the possibility of what something can become. For me, design is a way to connect, inspire and to be inspired, and to create meaningful experiences. Design is a way to resonate with others on a deeper level.
